Dear Fencergirl,

My seven year old has just taken up fencing. She has been fencing for a month, and really likes it. I just ordered her her own foil and glove. Am I actually being selfish because I am growing my own human to practice fencing with at home?

Dear Medically Complicated,

LOL... it took you HOW long to realize that most guys would love to make a living looking at.... all day long?

Seriously, I've had examinations done by both male and female practitioners. I don't have a preference either way, although many women do. Some prefer male doctors, some female, many like I, really don't care. Then again... I'm not real shy.

I must admit however, I've wondered at times if male doctors understand me as well as the female ones do. It's hard to describe issues with a part of your body that your doctor doesn't have. When I'm describing the pain being "the intensity of" or being "like a menstrual cramp" I can't help but wonder if my doctor understands what a menstrual cramp feels like. Leading me to wonder... does he fully understand what I'm saying? Should be using a different reference point? I realized it that doesn't make sense considering how doctors are trained... but still, I doubt I'm the only woman who has these thoughts flash briefly through her mind.

On the other hand... a male doctor may approach things more objective, rather than bring their own experiences into what the patient is trying to say. This too can be a benefit.

More personally.... would it be odd for your girlfriend/ wife to take on that line of work? If you are dating would that make it more difficult? Especially if you live in a small town? I'm quite liberal minded. I wouldn't have a problem living with a gyn... on the other hand, it would be a little weird in a small town.... knowing my hubby has seen the nether regions of every woman in town? Not to mention being weird for his patients.

Whatever you choose, I'm sure you'll do well at it. Good luck!

Dear Selfish,

Yes...

Seriously it's a great way to connect with your kid(s). Just be careful that she doesn't feel parental pressure to keep going if she loses interest.

Also... don't disown her if she shows better taste than her papa and takes up epee or sabre.

Dear FencerGirl,
I hate to bother you again with endless cooking questions seeing how you are a nurse and stuff but perhaps you could help me out one more time.
Last night I was trying to make whipped cream for topping coffee. It is a tasty treat to have on occassion.
I used a gift I got for Christmas. It is a whisk that has wires sticking out of the end with little balls on them.
I whipped and whipped that cream with the ball whip and it never got stiff.
Where did I go wrong?

Nicksmom's a nurse... I just dress up like one sometimes. Anyway.. I corrected my last post so it reads better.

Dear Cookie,

That's a very unusual problem. Often after a good whipping, stiffness often follows. The ball whip you describe is rumoured to be very effective. Perhaps you were whipping a little too vigorously.

Dear Fencergrl:

Suddenly, all I can think about are nurse costumes. Short white skirts, white hose and white heels are driving thoughts of epee from my mind.

How can I once again focus on my game?

Dear Fencergrl,

I seem to have the song "Baby, Don't Hurt Me" stuck in my head nearly everyday, I tried playing it on a radio in the fencing locker room but that made people look at me strange and one of the older member *****slapped a kid that was a few years younger then him with his glove and told him to sing the song to him. I don't want people to get hurt over a song that agrees with me on the no hurting part. How can I end this?

Dear Unfocused,

If you don't focus on your game you'll need a nurse! She'll slowly remove your fencing kit, to examine your injury... running her cool hands along your hot, sweaty body.

Then she'll carefully remove the mask, revealing your head... stroking your forehead... noticing the engorged vein, she runs a cool fingertip along it as she examines it, noting that you have good blood flow. From this position you can clearly see her ample breasts pressing against her tight uniform. As your head presses against the white stockings of her thigh.

You see what will happen to you? So get focused and don't let yourself get hit!

Pest,

Right now I want to hurt you, songs get stuck in my head very easily... guess which disco sounding tune is rolling through mine right now???

I suspect it has the same annoying affect on your club mates. I suggest you wear two jackets, a plastron, and a chest protector.... and no more theme songs! At least until you develop a better taste in music.

That's the thing, I don't like the song. It's just very catchy.

Well then... it's time to break this ugly pattern. You need a new song. You could consider:
"Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" by Nickleback or Elton John's version.
"Please Don't Touch" by Motorhead,
"Touch And Go" by Melissa Etheridge or the Cars' version.
"Just A Touch" by REM

There's lots of songs that can relate to fencing.... If that song still persists... please see the second quote in my signature.

Or why not an old classic; Samantha Fox - "Touch me".

Dear FG-

I recently sunbathed with (and then boinked) a lovely girl in my english class in college named Amanda. I then dated a girl named Summer, who looked similar to Amanda, but was far more "down" as they say. by which i mean she could suck the chrome off a hitch trailer. I was also dating a girl from Spain named Amanda As Well. (AAW) I dumped AAW only minutes before I received a phone call telling me Summer and Amanda 1 are sisters, they found out, and they both dumnped me. I also have an odd urge to kill a football player in Washington D.C. MY QUEEN!

Dear Hopelessly Horny in Cali,

You have just had a good time with 3 different women and even got to do sisters.... This is more of a brag than a request for advice, isn't it?.

Yeah the sisters dumped ya... I suspect before I get this post answered you'll be boinking another babe.... Chicks love musicians.
