    Tourney of the North

One by one the Arconians returned from the great tournament in the North.
It was a good day not to die.

Although not an Arconian one of the great participants of the Tourney of the North was killed Tuesday..along with his girlfriend in a carwreck. I did not see him fence nor did i know
him but i know what its like when a love one dies in an auto accident. My sister was
killed in a head on. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Let me see if I have this right: Tourney of the North is a real-life tournament someplace, in which many people from this forum, whom you referred to as Arconians, participated?

And then one of the fencers and his girlfriend were killed in a wreck on the way back.

Is that accurate? If so, my prayers also go out to their friends and families.

Yes, Arcon was referring to Corey Stauble. Its hard for me to relate to that, but I know that if the one I love was killed in an accident, I would cease to exist....

When I was younger I lost a good friend after her and her mother were killed in a car accident. I know it must be hard. My prayers are with Corey's family.
