| Hello from Boston! Hello,
My name is Steven G. and I am a freshman at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA (8 miles outside of Boston). I joined the fencing club here and fenced for the first time when I arrived in the fall. After the club finally bought sabre equipment, I switched off of foil, and I'm now the club's B-strip sabreur. Of course, we're nowhere near as good as the school's team (the only D1 team at a D3 school). I take my user name from my nickname on WBRS, the campus radio station. I'm from the South, and my initials are SG, so that's what I was named. I'm still waiting on the fencing club captains to give me a nickname there. |

I'm from Atlanta. Being at a small (3000 students) liberal arts school in Boston makes this quite southern, even though Atlanta is like a shining beacon of civilization in the South.
