    Preliminary USFA election strawpoll

[My first attempt constructing a poll]

Based on conversation here so far what is your inclination in the coming election?

    1. Vote for the candidates put forward by the USFA Nominating Committee
    2. Vote for the candidates put forward by the US Fencers for Change Committee
    3. Vote for a mixture of candidates
    4. Other (thus indicating my poll is flawed).

First, we need to gather enough signatures to even hold this vote.

    Fair point.

But since this just furthering the conversation, perhaps we could just treat things as if the nominees were officially contesting the election already.

Anybody know about how many signatures they have, and when the deadline is? Also, do we even get to vote??

    1. Not enough
    2. March 15 I believe is when they have to have the signatures in to Ms Hurley.
    3. Only if they get enough signatures to force the election to a vote.

BTW folks the petition is not a vote to elect.
IT IS A VOTE TO BE ALLOWED TO VOTE

If the petition fails then the individuals nominated by the USFA are essentially elected.

    Probably, by definition, not necessary.
