| Searching for a slender XL pistol grip Hi,
I'm trying to find a brand of pistol (Visconti-style) grip that come in XL (glove size 10) and which still retains a "slim" or "slender" feeling in the larger sizes. I've bought LP's XL grip which is much to "bulky" for my taste.
Any tip is appreciated.
Kind regards,
Peter Ejemyr

| Hej!
Om det är värja så kan du ju fila till greppet med en vanlig metallfil.
Ha det bra!

| i am glove size 9 to 9.5 and i use small, and occasionally medium grips. i think you are using the wrong size grip for your hand. consider downgrading to L or M. |

| I'm glove size 10.5 and I usually use medium visconti grips.*
I've fenced with sizes S-XL, and M is what works best for me. In my opinion it is common for people to initially land on a grip size that's too big.
Or you could take (what I'm guessing is) Peter's suggestion and just take a file to the grips you have.

* well, actually I usually use sabre grips, but back originally when I was exclusively an epeeist, and now when I fence either epee or foil I usually use medium visconti. My lesson weapons have all kinds of grips on them as they're whatever Temple had laying around when I needed a weapon.

| I don't know how much I can help, but I have a size 9.5 glove, and I use a Leon Paul L Visconti... And it's a little big for me, I think... I'm gonna second other people who say you might see about using a smaller grip.

| If you like the feel of a Visconti (finger grooves, etc), but want something that feels "thinner", you might try a German Visconti. I also didn't like the "width" across the palm of regular Visconti's, and have used these for the past 6 years. http://www.thefencingpost.com/Pictur...Grips/FF33.JPG |
