Is This Normal?

I just got a Contour Fit FIE mask from Leon Paul USA. It's very nice, comfortable, and I didn't even need to adjust it out of the box!

However, there is one thing I'm concerned about. The rivet at the bottom of the mesh is off-center of the center crease. Is this normal, or should I send it back?

This is my first mask, sorry if this is a stupid question.

Can you post a picture?
Mine seems pretty centered, but I doubt being offset would affect the integrity of the mask.

Actually being a little off center is probably not a bad thing.

Rivets work best when perpendicular to a flat surface because the load can be distributed evenly. Since there is no flat surface at the apex of the crease the rivet will either have to be placed slightly to one side or the mesh will have to be flattened in that spot in order for the rivet to achieve its maximum potential.

It shouldn.t necessarily be right on the "seam" in the rubber as this weakens the rubber strap so I am sure it is fine.
