After reading the "The Arconian Open" thread, it appeared to be a tournament for the well-heeled crowd. I would expect the fencers to have a cup of tea and some scones between periods.
This thread is to start an underground fight club. Any weapon goes. Don't bring your character in lest he/she dies. To make it interesting, you don't fight each other but there is a band of fighters who you compete against. You must defeat each one to become a champion, kind of like Samurai Showdown but with medieval weapons.
5. Name: Dietmar. Country: Prussia (Germany). Weapon: Saber and wooden club. Height: 6'1". Weight: 250 lbs. Specialty: Will pummel opponent with club after disarming him.
6. Name: Lars. Country: Sweden. Weapon: battle ax. Height: 6'2". Weight: 265 lbs. Specialty: body part dismemberment.
7. Name: Big John. Country: Scotland. Weapon: Single-edged broadsword and shield. Height: 6'2". Weight: 290 lbs. Specialty: Single attack wins.

1. Name: Renata. Gender: Female. Country: Hungary. Weapon: saber. Height: 5'4". Weight: 120 lbs. Specialty: Finish opponents off to the death.
I'm liking this! Do you intend to actually do fights? Do you intend to incorporate this with Arconia? Okay, let's put it this way: What the hell DO you intend to do here?

That's boring. I expect to read and write about bloody matches, dismemberment, decapitations, multiple fracture injuries, incisions, lacerations, joint dislocation, blade breaking, dirty moves, excessive bleeding, internal hemorrhaging, blackouts, suffocation, no-holds barred... let's just say Arconian characters are more than welcome to enter, but that doesn't guarantee they walk out.
