Array Ignore Thread - vBulletin can do? Greetings,
Things are looking great here, but they can always improve.
I just checked and an "Ignore Thread" option should be available with vBulletin.
Any hope of that feature being added?
Those of use in possession of a more refined sense of things could make those threads disappear forever. Imagine the joy. Take your time. Read carefully. -

Array I second that! It would really clean up the list when I hit "New Posts". Beer, it's whats for dinner! ~ a young snowboarding Canadian The meek don't want it! ~ sticker on a rock band's guitar -

Array Looks like it's not a standard feature in vbulletin but an add-on that we can get and plug in.
I'll put it in as soon as we get upgraded to the newer version.

Array For those of you playing along at home:
MrE says jump and Craigy-baby says how high.
For the rest of you Amebites:
Feel free to complain about anything you want, but if you find and propose a solution on your own, you stand an much greater chance of success. This holds for any endevor. Remember that.

Hey! Hey everyone,
Been reading the forum for a while just wanted to introduce myself - what's up? -

Array *BUMP*
If this option hasn't yet been implemented I'd like to add a new request for it.
If it has I'd like to post a request for instructions into its use.

Array Perhaps a "Troll Corner". The rest of us well behaved people can venture in (if we wish) but certain folks are restricted to only that area (the kiddy table, if you will). In this area they can be free to discuss their warrior-ness and other such nonsense and not take over the fencing discussions. Array The most recent Wired magizine has a quick article on dealing with trolls (page 38, april 2009). It might not be adaptable to the v.bulletin platform, however. It uses a scoring system and filters to insure that while Trolls can post, their comments are easy to filter out.
And yes, I only read Wired for the pictures.

Array Yeah, but our scoring system was corrupted soon after implementation.
And some people insist on giving trolls rep.
As a former /. reader I'm familiar with how such systems work. They're decent, but enh. I'd rather have an ignore thread option to go with my ignore user option.
