The night before involved a 20 minute hail storm complete with thunder and lightning. Thanks!!
I suspect these may be the end times.

Therefore, if a problem has been proposed, and even accepted as a problem (most people seem to be accepting that, I think), then identifying the cause is critical before deciding whether or not to do anything about it. | 1. Thanks for such a refreshing reminder on the importance of the American Bill of Rights. Speech, Press, Assembly, Petition, thank you and double thank you.
2. Use of the the word moreover is inherently creepy.
3. Where elected officials stand on an issue is probably a good starting point for most discussion, as it generally squashes or creates most of the hullabaloo.
4. Which reminds me. It's been while since I read one of these agendas... but I miss the parts that start off with "Here comes the honorable Joseph Streb". Those were always good reading.

| 1) I said nothing of petitions. I've seen no good come of them so far in the USFA.
2) :
3) Brad isn't really an elected official yet. While I like the USFA Congress, I think it's a little indirect.
4) I think we're safer without those proposals, even though they never passed. |

NotIndPK, do you see that long line of green dots below my picture? It is the same length as his. Without wasting too much time on the subject, allow me to inform you that this signifies that we are equally courteous and humorous. I, however, have accomplished this feat with less than half the posts. I am simply a more efficient person. It is my deep rooted desire for efficiency that sparked such a needlessly caustic outburst.
Please stop misdirecting the thread.

PS: Appreciate the acknowledgement that the outburst was needlessly caustic.....only place in the post, where you and I HAD parted company...

The Electoral College is a little indirect, but W is still an elected official. Quote:

Should I be most shocked that MrE deigns again to grace us with his presence, that he is claiming to believe that rep (or worse, rep dots!) have some meaning, or that he's willing to admit that I'm equally as hurmorous as he?

*notes that NotIndPk has 8 dots to MrE's 11 in less than 1/40th of the post count*
edit: an hour or so later NotIndPk is up to 9 dots. I suspect s/he will match MrE and I by the end of the day.

...where is the Moderator when you need one...... | I think there is a connection between his snowed-in situation, the inability of PetMeds.com to deliver his current dosage of horse tranquilizers that has kept him content and absent from the board, and his sudden re-emergence rife with irritability.
That being said, nice to see you again, Mr. E...and play nice with the newbies until they get toughened up a bit.

| Foil, huh?
Well, isn't that like bringing a pencil sharpener to a gunfight.
And here I was worried that you planned to kill me slowly with an excessive use of ellipses.
Damn you and your abuse of punctuation.

Now, as MrE suggested correctly can we get this thread back on track?
I hope to attend my first USFA Board meeting and it should be interesting for this newbie.....

It was organized by Andrea Lagan as an experimental program, but wasn't repeated subsequently.

| There might be more team participation in April if compilation teams, sectional or divisional or regional teams, were allowed and if all of the team events for each sex/weapon were scheduled the day after the individual DIV I events.
There could be some really good teams if compilation teams were allowed.
WE, Texas vs California vs Oregon
ME, NY vs CA vs TX
etc.
