    Wizard Uso(the plot)

Uso lay motionless and covered in the two wheel cart. He could hear the Arconian Security Guards
as they questioned his driver. She seem to be calm as she methodically answered their endless questions. His biggest fear was theyd discover him to be a she. The spell hed cast to change Mira's voice would not last much longer. They needed to make their way into the city in a timely manner or all would be lost before it started. He was sure word had reached the Arconian Security forces to be on the look out for him.
Mira's father had recently passed away and had left her his home and a healthy sum of gold and silver. If they could reach the home in safety theyd use it as a base from which to hatch their plans. Uso's supporters would soon follow and a meeting would be held in six nights.
Together theyd make "The Kingdom of Usonia a reality. He had to admit he liked the sound of "king Uso". Finally the cart was moving again. The Arconian guard had cleared them through and theyd soon be within the Arconian City walls.

Note: Remember please that good will win out over evil. I know how some of you feel abou this type of thing...magic...wizards...etc.
Because we write of things doesnt mean we believe in them or even condone them.

I have only one small qualm with magicks, and it is from a purely literary standpoint: It's far too easy to write badly and end up with a stupid sounding story. That's what my initial concerns were here, but you all have proved me wrong on that time and again. So, magick on!

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag. - Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Slowly Mira pulled up to the rear of the old house. It appeared to be boarded up. It
still had the Arconian banner across the door. "Do not pass Arconian taxes due".
Her father although wealthy had refused to pay property taxes owed to the crown. It
was the first thing Mira had to deal with after her fathers death. They certainly didnt
need to draw any attention to themselves before they got their mission started. Uso
was sleeping but quickly awakened when she struck the back of the cart with her heel.
"We're here", she replied, when she heard his groan.

Magick's not necessarily a bad thing; and with the over-abundance of skillful, clever authors on this forum, I believe it can be done beautifully.

Yes, Swordsman, we can debate this further at a later date.

Mira was no where near finished cleaning the old house. If things went as planned common labor
would so be a thing of the past for her. Uso was alsleep in her fathers old room. It
seemed as though he was sleeping all the time to her. Shed heard that when
people reached a certain age sleeping was both common and frequent. She was
glad she was not old. Before going to bed Uso had been somewhat stern and damn
rude with her over the state her fathers old house. In one week the others would be
present for their first meeting. There was still much for her to do. She smiled as she
thought of her plans. Uso was unaware of her secret but soon the Queen of
Arconia would be aware but for now shed bide her time. Uso's plans shed go along
with until it was time to make her move. She would finally get what was hers.

"Mira , called a voice from the bedroom, bring me water." she grabbed the butchers
knife and grimaced in anger. Not now ........she quietly said to herself.........much later
the right time would come. "Yes, im coming, ill be right there she replied."
