Foil Clubs / Instruction in Folsom

Is anyone aware of opportunities for a foil fencer to fence and train near Folsom, CA (Zip: 95630)? I have a friend who has transplanted there, and the only ones she has found information for seem to be saber-only. That also seems to be the case when using fencing.net's handy Find-a-club feature. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks.

The BayCup website is a great resource.
It looks like there are 4 nearby.

That is a very handy data source. Thanks for the link!

Does anyone know if the Sacramento Fencing Club, National Fencing Center (Carmichael), or Hristov Fencing Center have any foil presence? The websites that I've found don't say one way or the other, but they all seem to be very (exclusively?) saber-focused.

Sac Fencing, National Fencing CenterS, and Hristov Fencing Club are all saber-centric with National having some number of epee fencers. The closest to foil would be UC Davis and possibly Davis Fencing Academy. There is also Imani Fencing Club in Sacramento. They might have a foil presence. Wilbur Wheeler, youth phenom from the early 80s, teaches there.

Eric, isn't NFC and DFA the same club?

They're both owned by the same entity/person, but they're located at different places and have different head coaches there. NFC is in Carmichael (northestern part of Sacramento) while DFA is in Davis (west of Sacramento). Simon Pitfield coaches primarily at DFA while Mihaly Csikany coaches primarily at NFC. Mihaly also coaches at DFA as well, and I'm sure there are other coaches who wander among the several clubs.

Thanks for clarification. Interestingly, NFC website is at davisfencingacademy.com, there's no separate website just for DFA, the website header says "National Fencing Centers, founded by Davis Fencing Academy", Davis and Carmichael locations are listed on the site without any mention of DFA name as tied to Davis location ... Slightly confusing

Tell her I'll be right there. I'll be coming round the bend (on the train), drinking coffee and smoking a big cigar. I bet the guy who invented the Russian Strongarm technique is available as well.
