| Glove questions If only the Bionic (rose) glove was white i was thinking. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...10000003+90401
I quickly defeated this thought due to the lack of a body cord hole, and the probably difficulty of taking the darn thing off and getting it over a jacket. I have heard of people taking other gloves and sewing them onto a cuff.
Now the question about the cuff. Is there any sort of rule saying where the velcro should be, what side or exact location?
I know people to wrap half their wrist in their cord when they build an epee with a backwards clip. So the cord hole isnt that big of an issue.
I plan to buy the normal Bionic glove and sew a cuff on it for a new fencing glove. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...10000003+90401
I know these gloves can take outrageous punishment from my few years of landscaping. Any advice from people that have created their own gloves would be appreciated. Such as making parts of it resist catching points.

Dental floss > duct-tape, just 6 hours of hand stitching and bloody fingers later. You have successfully sewn your old bib+head wrap to new mesh. Minty! |

You could sew a sock to a gardening glove and it'd technically be legal.....not GOOD, but legal.
See M.25.6 and the end of the M.26 section (in rules specific to foil) |

| Thats just it, there are no serious rules requiring CEN 1 or 350 newton gloves. I sure as hell know the armor2 gloves are easily punctured on the backside by epees i have 4 holes in mine from that.
I recently got an Athos glove that has a fantastically stiff cuff that stretches perpendicular to the wrist, the hand is thin and might last a season. I'm gonna reuse that nice cuff though and i know i can sew better then them.

| The claim of 350N on the glove is not MY advertising....someone else's. H.O.M. has never said they were puncture resistant...they were designed for OMPACT protection...which is another matter. |
