| Which Italian Visconti? There are so many Italian Viscontis out there. And by Italian Visconti (usually sized XS,S/M/L/XL), i mean just that, not the German Visconti or any other similarish pistols. Out of curiosity, which brand/house's do you like best?

| Among manufacturers and even among different sizes of visconti, there are many different shapes. I would suggest figuring out which one you like and actually buying them in person, but I'm really particular.
I have had good luck with Absolute and fencing.net shapes, and their prices are also the best I've seen.
I don't like the shape or cost of LP, and Uhlmann is good, but just as expensive. For the price of one LP or Uhlmann, I can get three fnet grips.

| I am a fan of the LP Viscontis with the crinkle-coating.

| i've tried most of the ones above at some point. started on the uhlmann and stayed there on my epees. then i discovered the LP grips and put them on my foils. theyre definitely my favorite, but not enough to buy a bunch of grips to replace my epee handles.
btw, has anyone noticed that absoute's visconti is almost an exact copy of uhlmanns? |

| Got my first ones from Santelli, had no idea who the manufacturer was. After they shut down, trial and error led me finally to the source, LP. Learned that they had an insulated version (which Santelli didn't carry) and never had to tape my grips again. |

| No, schermasport does not equal negrini. Negrini is the only place that sells the visconti model (AF and American have one of the other models), but they are different from the negrini ones.

| I use the Small LP crinkle-coated Viscontis as well. I have to saw about 2.5cm off the handle so my thumb will be flush against the bellguard, but it's worth it. I have had my eye on the Zivkovic grips though. Talked to a guy there and he suggested the BIII size for foil fencers.
