    One last"where from here"

Zelda, my queen and our monitor, if you wish to close this thread after my post thats fine with me
although im aware you dont need my consent.

I think to much has been made of this incident(the cave-in). Writers use their personal experiences and ideas as inspiration for their writing. Im sure for Moon it was the latter. Im relatively sure many of us have done that already. I know I have. So, are we to be so afraid as to only pick and choose the ones we find safe and comfortable with? Good question. Each person must answer this question on their own and deal with its relationship to their writing.

If we assigned guilt to fictional writers for the content of their writings...wouldnt many of them be doing time in a federal prison. So lets put this in proper perspective. This is fantasy written by those who do it for many personal reasons or just for fun.

I dont want Arconia to become anything close to
a fantasy soap opera. So this IS the way it needs to be...........Arcon and Moon never slept together.........if you will recall......both had the ability to intereact with dreams.......
Both of them had the same dream....therefore thinking they'd been intimate kinda like a couple waking up in the same bed after one had two much to drink.......and the drinking party saying...
    "did we?".

IF......and I say if .....Moon were pregnant.
Which is now mute.....it would have to be Zarcon's

So this brings up the idea or decision about.. how will our characters intereact with fictisious characters?(morality issues) pertaining to our writing. We will be implementing serious restictions if we over censor in this area.(in my opinion). Camelot was not perfect....why would or should Arconia be?

Bottom line......Moon is not pregant with Arcons
child . It was a mutual dream.

    Shes not even pregnant, according
    to her.

p.s. The positive aspect of all of this is we've
discussed the issue, given our views, and
now we'll move on with business as usual,
hopely in agreement with the above statement
of the two parties envolved in the storyline

Writing involving the more serious moral
issues in life probaly has a better place
than in this public forum. Afterall we have
all ages involved here. We should deal with them
from a moral perpective(the arconian writers
and our characters that represent us
personally. Characters we make up shall and
will be the villians with questionable
morals. The end result being that good will
and should always win out over evil.

Moon, wants to expand her character and she
knows she can do this in the public domain
outside of this forum. She can do it here if
most or all are accepting of this more
serious plunge into life and its impure
nature that some indeaver in or face as the result of others actions. If bringing this out in fiction is to painful for some then
    lets not go there.

I have learned from all my pain and adversity in life. Its not any more or less than
most. Writing from the heart of experience does
not personally bother me. It actually helps....but im not the only party to consider.
We are a board of many ages, backgrounds, and from
places all over the world. Fencing is fun. Thats what brought us all here in the first place.
The writing here needs to be fun also.
So lets keep it in the vein of fun, adventurous,
and maitain a moral character within the crown
and Arconia. Let the ficticious characters be the bad guys and may the force of good win out!

    Long live Arconia

    "live long and fence"

this is a great post, probably one of the best posts to date from arcon, there is no arguement from this quarter, it is a cross between a gripe, and a soliliqy. please don't erase it yet until i have a chance to examine the whole thing.

    [ps isn't a soliliqy a long gripe?]

zelda should take a dose, once a day

I thought that Moon WAS pregnant? In that case, her menstrual cycle would have ceased, no? A tumor, even if imbedded on the ovary (or in the uteran wall itself), would not have the same effects that a zygote would. Moonitic has to be pregnant due to previous posts.

Gosh, I hope the writer Moon isn't pregnant anymore!

Yes, too much was made of the "issue" & I'm glad it's over. If you want to see where the original idea was going, read the book when it's out (not said flippantly...I'm excited about this & inspired by the talent here).

Yes, Moon is ill. Will she leave to die in peace? Maybe. Will she die? Only time will tell. Will anyone know she's sick? Hmm...I guess that depends on which characters WANT to know. Be as involved as you want. Am I going to say for sure what happens next? No. But here's something to thik about: There's a certain twin in Arconia, causing havoc in her sister's name. There's also a new guy in town, who seems quite interested in said twin.

Stay tuned for the further adventures of....As the Stomach Turns (ok, that comes from the Carol Burnett show...man, I'm dating myself...). LOL, on a more serious note, I'm always curious and anxious to read the further adventures of those folks dwelling in and around the land known as Arconia.

Oh, Rayen....from a medical standpoint, I do know of one woman who didn't have a period and swelled up like she was pregnant, but wasn't pregnant. She had a tumor and it was blocking her cervix, so nothing was getting out, and as the tumor grew, so did her stomach. There are medical oddities such as this out there. My own mother is, herself, a medical oddity in many ways (LOL). She was actually born with a double uterus. She had two uteruses, which operated differently. She could have, but never did (thank God), been pregnant in one uterus and later on, during her pregnancy, become pregnant in the other uterus. The doctors believe this is why she had such a hard time having children. She had 2 miscarriages and 3 stillborn children, in and around having my brother and myself. She had to have a hysterectomy when she was about my age, due to many problems stemming from this condition. So.....one can miss a period and not be pregnant. And, yes, it can be caused by a tumor.

With shame, Willow, I must admit defeat on this subject. After my first post, I decided to read up on it. Yes, while possible, it is something that most doctors never see in their entire careers. Possible, but extremely rare. But then again, this IS Arconia...

On the other hand, while a tumor cannot cause a person to contract morning sickness and a sudden craving for pickles, it CAN cause miscarriages before a woman even knows she is pregnant.

And what of the fact that most first pregnancies end in miscarriage, even if the soon-to-be mom doesn't realize that she is carrying life? There are endless possibilities as to how to turn this around and charge in the other direction. It's all up to you which alternative you take, Arcon. But do choose something a little more logical than a mutual dream. Just a suggestion.
