is this tournament open to fencers of any age or is there a age limit
You'll have to be more specific so we know what tournament you mean.
Speaking generally, a local Division III tournament would, by default, be a senior event, open to those age 13 or older (fencing age, so as of 3 weeks ago) or on the junior points list.
