| Arcons head was hurting....throbbing was the correct word......the wrath of the Queen he was not looking forward to it.....him and lochinvar had not made it to the ball early they were in fact late. lochinvar could get away with this...he was the quest of honour
but the king ....THAT was a different matter.
He gently nudged his ole friends head, and lochinvar barely lifted his head from the bar. "lochinvar"! "We have to go, "NOW".
lochinvar raised up with such speed startling
Arcon, to the point he feel backwards on the barstool...
What a site they were. Hungover, dirty and late to the Ball. Slowly they shuffled their way out the door of the pub and into the street. Just maybe he could sneak into the ball unnoticed he thought to him self.
Yea, Right the king can sneak in.
He looked over at lochinvar who could barely stand...he looked pale and really hungover..
"loch", he said. "If you throw up on me ill leave you in this alley".
He smiled at his ole friend as they quickened their pace....... |

| Lochinvar's eyes felt like someone had run them over lighlty with sandpaper. His mouth tasted like something, slimy, and none too fastidious had nested there, and only recently been evicted. He didn't so much walk as lurch along, unsteady as a puppy on polished floor.
Damn, he was getting too old for this!
Somewhere between his temples, a blacksmith was hammering with malicious glee on an old church bell. How had he let Arcon talk him into this bender, anyway? And whatever would they tell Zelda?
He was beginning to wonder if coming home had been such a good idea after all.....

| I'll find a pub somewhere in Nova Zemblar, do my thing there. Remind me to drop by here when I get back - I've never been yet.

| Just a reminder to all here: In reviewing this thread, I discovered that the legal drinking age in Arconia has been lowered to 10.
Bladette, c'mon in and have a pint!

| Hey..that's right! Bladette is 12 now. Guess she's an old lady by Arconian standards. Oh my, what does that make the rest of us?
By the way, she's doing her first Regional Youth Tourny in Chicago this weekend. Lift a tankard and wish her luck!!
