    Members of the NY Fencer's Club

    Hey guys, I was thinking about joining this club.
    Would you tell me about the foil coaches?
    Elterman, Gershon, Petin

    How they teach, attitudes, personal favorite, techniques, etc.

    All three Coaches are great; my son is Coached by Elterman-he is there
    M,W,F and Sundays. Petin has some world class foilists and so does Gershon.
    Each has their own personality, but they are all good.

    Hmm...I guess I'll go to each one of their group classes.

    I just want to know my coach before I make a commitment for him as my coach.

    Your best bet with any new coach is to take a few introductory lessons to try them out with no long term commitment. Then you can see if you enjoy their coaching style and make a decision from there.
