    FWF Competition Range Reviews

I need to buy another set of FIE whites to replace my current set as I've out grown them. Whilst I am seriously considering FWF I can't find any reviews and don't know anyone locally who owns or has used them. So I would like some information pertaining to their wear-ability, weight, cut and quality. If it helps the one set of FIE whites that I have owned are the PBT Superlight range. I am also considering LP Sydney range (which have the 6 - 8 weeks wait) and as the first AFF comp is at the end of March I want to be able to order soon to ensure that I have a better fitting set of whites by that time.

Ok so I take it no one at all has any experience with FWF's range of FIE uniforms then.

If so close and delete please.

If you do a bit of searching around the forum archives, you will find a couple of threads where people have commented about them.

Searched and found nothing. I even did a cross check by searching for the general items and checking the threads for comments pertaining to FWF in those threads. More often than not they turned into discussions about cars.

Just got my new FWF 800n jacket in the mail. I went with a 54 size, parts of my spec fit the 52, but the fit is perfect. Did a marathon fencing session in it the first night. The jacket is thick with the 2 layers, but the under layer that touches your skin and absorbs the sweat starts feeling nice and cool.

Ive notice much lower friction in taking hits, and some movements. i believe this is due to the cotton staying in one place and the outer jacket layer sliding around freely.

Shoulders are a little square, can look pointy compared to others. I cant compare this jacket to other FIE stuff, this one is my first. Ill probably complete the FWF set in time, but for now im enjoying the jacket.
Your argument is sound... nothing but sound.

Dental floss > duct-tape, just 6 hours of hand stitching and bloody fingers later. You have successfully sewn your old bib+head wrap to new mesh. Minty!
