This looks pretty good to me and the price is rather low. I am using a similar thing which is no way as effective (I cannot attach a blade) and it cost me a packet.
Look it it this way, Guy...the dummy by itself = you on a p/r bari by yourself. Add in practice on a modern Kanstul valver and teaching by a real instructor = being in the brass arc with Donnie Van Doren (breathe dah!) or Wayne Downey teaching (or Dave Carico, but he'd have to take a drag on his cig before saying anything!).
It'll help, but its no substitute for a real body looking at what you're doing.

Anything that gets you to practice between lessons and fencing opportunities is probably a good thing. For $90, it is probably not a bad buy.
One test is worth a thousand opinions. I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was. - Toby Keith Living life without taking the occasional risk is like lemon-pepper chicken without the lemon-peper. It's just chicken.
Purple: poor title and question, as this is not intended as a substitute for his coach...just an aid for home training.
My thoughts were like...repetitions on 6s, 4s etc to build accuracy, dexterity, and speed....perhaps in conjunction with a wrist weight...
...all this to be cleared by the coach...
PS...altho I had school music classes, some private tutoring, and my Dad also a trombonist, my horn playing was largely self-taught....I whipped-@#$, too!
