Array Arconian discussion(threads, etc.) In an attempt to salvage the journey home thread I have created this post to talk or vent our opinions on Arconian characters, threads, etc. etc. Please feel free to blast away.
I would like to see the "Journey Home" get back to its original story line being......the journey home before Craig decides to pad lock it.

Array It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag. - Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC -

Array I just want to pipe in to say: Do your worst with Lady Moon. Have fun. Go crazy. Make me laugh. Make me cry. I'm still working on the novelization of her character (though now named Lady Anne/Princess Arianna), as well as some "other" stuff, so I don't have much time to contribute. Just one thing, though...whatever you choose to do to her, make it true to her character.
In June/July I'll begin a new business...selling Pampered Chef. Should be fun. Heck, I get free stuff, so I can't complain!
I'll be reading as I can. Later! "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array As a side note, it was my idea to have the little tryst in the cave in, though it was known about. Sorry if I offended anyone, but I'm NOT sorry for adding it! Shockers like that make great fiction what it is, and provided an excellent opportunity for some great scenes down the line. The overpowering guilt, the heir to the throne...and more.
To quote Puck from A Midsummer Night's Dream:
If we shadows have offended
Think but this, and all is mended-
That you have but slumb'red here
While these visions did appear.
And this weak and idle theme,
No more yielding but a dream,
Gentles do not reprehend.
If you pardon, we will mend.
And, as I am an honest Puck,
If we have unearned luck
Now to scape the serpent's tongue,
We will make amends ere long;
Else a Puck a liar call.
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends.
If I would have had the opportunity, I would have said, "Trust me." But that's too late now. So, forget it ever happened. It will be reborn elsewhere, and all will be well.
Adios. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array Yes, I knew about it (the cave in). Yes, i even agreed to it. At least one person in fanstasyland
was of the opinion that Arconias innocense would forever be lost but in real life isnt it lost in childhood? Or shortly after.

Array Hey, it's not really that big of a deal. And in any case, it's still just fiction, that I probably shouldn't get that worked up about. Also shouldn't have brought it up in the other thread; it wasn't even relevant to what I was trying to say.
Write on, Moonitic! I want one of the first copies! It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. a lot of people question mango, in a sence i am becoming like arcon. i think the answer is this: we begin in an honest dialog and somehow or another the thing gets twisted up, because we encounter a person or two on the board or off, who realize that we are making a point, or moralizing, and then they get upset with us because we have touched a nerve. Then, rather than consider the possibility they may be wrong about something, they react too quickly and repost. They miss the mark entirely, and then we become aggrivated. Then generally I over-react and then arcon writes another story with an ah-ha message. my problem is that i get entirely personal, but i believe it's gender based.
i will try not to post too much, i think that is the problem. i am actually trying to wean myself off the board entirely. but, i feel that still, we are the only fencing family in town. see ya around.

Well now, it seems we have an answer. Nice to see there's a lucid person behind the hilarious insanity. Not only that, but a sharp one who seems good at nailing those who deserve it. For the record: I still stand by my beliefs and opinions, but I realize that I was far out of line and apologize for it.
