| Absoulte elite fencing shoes A club member who was coaching my son in saber was wearing the other night. When I asked them about them he said that they felt like a regular sneaker and were very comfortable.
Does anyone else out there have an opinion on these?

| They are Li Ning fencing shoes but re branded and in silver. Pro's: cheap; comfy; good grip. Cons: Little or no support or cushioning; Poor durability. |

| I bought a pair and found them to be very comfortable. They have a very grippy bottom and for a low top provide decent ankle support do to the think padding. I cant comment on the durability as I just bought them and havent really worn them in yet. For $40 they're a good deal from what Ive seen. |

My first pair of fencing shoes though, so I have nothing to compare them to. |

| The shoe isnt very heavy, but its rather bulky. Theres a lot of padding around the ankles which makes it very supportive and comfortable. The sole is one piece with a waffle pattern, with a rounded heal and is very grippy. Ill post some pictures tonight. Ive worn them while doing drills in my basement but Im going to actually fence in them for the first time tonight. |

| How do I be vague enough for this...
Dude, you should've seen the (Footwear) that (nameless company) sent (person). Now this was (an amount of time between 3 and 1 years) ago, but they were no where near a fencing shoe. The heel was wrong, the protection was wrong, they looked like crosstrainers. (person) is so pleased that the new shoes look as good as they do.
that said or not said, I still don't like the mesh design. |
