You know, I was thinking about this last night.
We work so that we have money to buy food (that isn't all that good for us) and stuff. Those jobs mostly revolve around the production of stuff, ideas for more stuff, or entertainment.
Not only do we just keep making stuff, we make low quality stuff so we can make as much stuff as fast as we can with at little effort as possible so that we have more free time to do... what? Use stuff? Let our brains be melted by whatever form of popular culture we feel like (tv, internet, magazines, terrible music)? I don't know where we, I, went wrong, but where's the accomplishment? I mean real accomplishment, not having beat some game or anything like that, but something we pour all of ourself into to complete.
I don't know what it should be, but that just doesn't seem right.
