Susie...I got really worried when Chris ran into the bathroom crying like a little girl....when he finally came out he looked REALLY bad. The last time I saw that kind if almost defeated look on his face was when he first started out at SwordPlay and was having troubles getting the hang of fencing.
NOT a good sight...he looked like a lobster.
Bob is hereby never allowed to put any of that stuff on Chris again!
(btw...did Bob check his shorts out the following morning...just to be safe?) |

I wish I knew which it was.

it was all I could do to not break during a show that year....I was in a GREAT deal of pain around the 3/4 point in the show. |

Maybe that's what he meant?
But that's just something that I have been told for years... maybe it's just a southern backwoods remedy?

| Standard topical treatment for corns is salicylic acid. Asprin is acetosalicylic acid. A very close cousin. I can see it working and being a bit milder than the usual treatment.

The active ingredient listed is Ilex which is a type of holly plant. I don't know what part of the plant they use to make the product. The berries can be mildly toxic causing an upset stomach or nausea, but I am not finding anything that indicates that they would be deadly or cause permanent damage.

Try Cramer's Red Hot. Now that is sumptin that will fix an acute sprain. You will scream so much that the sprain is the last thing you are concerned with. | I've never heard of a chronic sprain. |

| Nick has eaten: the gel from an ice pack, a stick of sidewalk chalk, a tube of lip gloss, the silica gel packs from shoes(that say do not eat), a Barbie shoe, wheel off a Matchbox car, and a fishing lure. Poison Controll was on speed dial, and the knew who it was when we called.
Atomic Balm by Cramer is hotter than Red Hot. Try that on freshly showered skin. OUCH.

That said, I prefer Atomic Balm, it is a better deep heating product, where Red Hot is primarily capsaicin, and just burns the surface. |

| Really? Well, I have been out of the training arena for a while. Do they still make "cramergesic"? I used to put a hot pack on the boys backs, then rub down with atomic balm. They were good to go.

| Tiger Balm did good things for my arm after long days of taking cut-off throws in short left field and heaving the relay in the general direction of the plate--especially since I had(/have) an infielder's throwing motion and a tendency to rip up my elbow from long range.
However, it's not a good idea to handle one's sliding shorts immediately after administering the Tiger Balm. I'm just sayin'. |

| Red Hot The best. It warns you that it is a Skin Irratant and not a pu y linoment. Atomic Balm is a linoment.
The good stuff comes in Mild and Hot. Take the Hot.
