Peter Gustafsson | I think the weight spring would be much too wide, no? |

| I once used an epee pressure spring as the trunk for a tree in an architectural model. It worked pretty well actually.

| Foils are 3 feet long, fireproof, and have a built-in flame-guard for your hand!
Mmmmmm. Marshmallows......

Chuck F. | I wouldn't trust my foils with food... They've been in my bag... and even if it's just for a brief period of time, eww...

| I'm looking for a way to use my old, decrepit, and quite nauseating mask. Any suggestions?

| Bee killing. We have bee problems. Rather, wasps.
They stung my mother a few times and she was allergic, so in blind retaliation, I zipped up with two layers of Underarmour, thick socks, two pants, Ulhmann Olympia, a hood and cap to protect the back of my head, a mask, and a electric prod.
They stung and stung, but to no avail, the wasps smashed into my mask, some with stingers sticking in holes. I zapped them and zapped them vigorously. I felt horrible afterwards, of course, but I was angry. My mother was sent to the hospital.
A few did hit me, but I ignored the pain and killed many.
I feel like a murderer.
Then I went inside after brushing myself off and waiting a few moments.
A few wasps were still attached onto my armor. I pulled out the stingers when I took off the Underarmour and felt pity on those who died for the colony.
The end.

| I like the marshmallow idea alot! My practice blade makes an excellent halloween costume, not too imaginative though.

| I've used my dad's old epee as a channel changer when the remote runs out of batteries. American point control exercises!

| One of my duties at work is to conduct the interview portion of hiring processes. One of the questions we ask (to throw people off guard and see how they adapt to sudden changes in the type of question) is something like this:
I say, "Pretend you just found a warehouse FULL of a particular thing. Millions of them, all in mint condition. You figure you can make some money off them, but if you're going to sell them, you'll need to come up with a catchy name for them and three possible uses. What would you pick?"
Then I hand them a visconti and say, "this is what you found".
It works GREAT for that question. So many people forget the question and spend half the time just trying to figure out what the heck the thing actually is...

| For a school project, my daughter was putting together a display on "Communication." Another member of her group had contributed an antique telegraph key, but unfortunately the spring had broken. The spring from an epee point fit perfectly.
