| Doping? I just got this from a pal on another website. Given my newness to fencing and the sheer volume of doping in so many other sports, I wonder if (or to what extent) fencing has been affected. Hopefully not much, but just asking.

| I bet a few of those guys--mostly pitchers like Ankiel, Prior, and Wood--were using HGH in an attempt to rehab their catastrophic arm injuries... which I personally find marginally more forgivable than just straight steroid doping. |

| You want to talk doping in fencing? Go to a V50 event. Those folks make MLB look like a bunch of yuppies bantering in the supplement isle of Whole Foods. Course I guess you could argue they got their reasons...

| I inject roids in my wrist to help with point control and disengages. My forearm is as big as my thighs.

| I the interest of accuracy I'd just like to point out that that isn't actually the list. It should probably be taken down or changed for accuracy. |

| Check out the USADA (United States Anti Doping Agency) website. You will soon know more than you'd ever need to or want to know about doping.
it's www.usada.org (I think..., if not, google it)

| I suppose you COULD dope in fencing... but it really seems like while it might provide an advantage, it wouldn't be nearly the advantage in other sports. No matter how strong you are, you WILL lose to someone better. Or such is my experience. |
