| Foil 2 Prong Retainer clip Folks... Does anyone know what is the size of the screw that holds the retainer clip on the bodywire end? This is for those body wires that have the connector on the end itself (not like the French one). The holds the clip and the spring assembly together. I know where I can get them if I only knew the correct size. |

I know where I can get them if I only knew the correct size. | The ones I have measure 0.076 inches on my micrometer or 1.9 mm as close as I can measure. Standard screw sizes are 1.8 mm, 2.0 mm or 2.2 mm. So they are probably 2.0 mm.

| What is the length of the screw?
I do think 2mm is correct. |

| I would agree with the 2.0 pitch diameter if you are measuring 1.9mm; therefore your choices are M2 x .25 (fine thread) or M2 x .4 (coarse thread). Given that the majority of screws used by the fencing community are fine thread, I'd go with the M2 x .25. I'll try to verify tonight.

| OK, and I hate to admit this in public, but I was not entirely correct. (crowd gasps) My trusted thread guage says that it is a M2 x .4! (crowd roars approval!)

| Found it.. M2 Thanks.. I just received a shipment of the correct screws from http://www.mcmaster.com/. They are cheap and fit.. M2 5mm length cost $5.86 for 100. This is an excellent site for getting other parts for those hard to find items. |

| And did you get the star washer too?
McMaster Carr is an amazing distributor. I've always found their shipping charges a bit on the high side for small orders though. |

You mean you sent on the WII without testing it first to see if it worked properly? What kind of grandparent are you? Think of the potential for emotional scarring that can occur by receiving defective presents!!! Better yet, what kind of Armorer are you that would let equipment go out without being certified! Ye gads, man! This is how civilizations start on the slippery slope to decay and ruin. (you started it!) ;-)

| No, the big mistake was telling our daughter that we had gotten one for the grandchildren.
After that I didn't dare try it.
