A quick question regarding the small screws in the A, B and C lines of an Uhlmann-type (i.e. hard shell) body cord. The screws in one of my cords have become so pulverised that they need to be replaced. Can I find suitable replacements in a typical hardware store, or are the screws a unique type not commonly available?
I am unsure but I do not believe you will find them in a local hardware store. Also some vendors have a different threading than others.

As Rick points out, there really isn't a standard set-screw out there, although one would think there would be by now. My best recommendation would be to go back to the vendor and see if you can get a new one from them.
