aamct2 will become famous soon enough
Welcome to the forums!

It's never too late to start fencing. I'm in college and have fenced people 60+ who have severely trounced me in bouts. Fencing is a sport for all ages.

If you too are from Wisconsin, there are a number of clubs in the north that aren't listed since they are rec clubs. You can find them in Manitowoc, Stevens Point, and soon in Eau Claire. If you're from a different state, I'd recommend contacting someone in the division there. They may know of some clubs that are closer to you that won't be listed because they're rec clubs instead of competitive USFA clubs.

Cheers,

aamct2

You know, aamct2, if you guys in Stevens Point would contact the division, you could get your club listed. Same goes for everyone else.

Also, fencing.net has a club listing feature.

John, if you're in West Virginia, there should be clubs closer than 300 miles from you. http://www.westernpafencing.com/fencing.htm Who's your friend in Wisconsin?

43 is young! I started at 50. Where are you in W. VA? There are some clubs in western VA, or Ohio, or KY that should be closer than that. (or does it just seem like 300 miles with all the hairpin turns? )
