Our tournament is sponsored by the friends and family of a 1999 graduate of Caddo Magnet High School, Rose Condon, who was involved in a fatal automobile accident in January 2000. Absolutely all proceeds from the tournament go toward the Rose Condon Memorial Scholarship, given once each year to a graduating senior from Caddo Magnet High School. The committee works year-round to plan and carry out this event in Rose's memory and we hope you will be able to help us make this year's event a success.

For those who aren't familiar with this tournament, I wanted to post an endorsement as a fencer and occasional staff member...

This tournament is well staffed with top-level referees (see the list on Fred -it's got names that can be recognized), national level bout committee staff, prizes are awesome, all the strips are usually grounded, events run pretty much like clockwork. It's also a Section Circuit event, so anyone who fences is eligible for Southwest Section Circuit Cup points (although only section members are eligible for end-of-season prizes), so I highly *highly* encourage people to come to this, travel if you have to, attend this tournament.
