Avatar Sizing

Has the avatar sizing changed?
I tried to change my avatar to have a Christmas theme and it came out really, really small. So I made it bigger... same size. So I tried linking to the orignal large size on a web page... still tiny.

Help! Size matters!!!

My Avatar page says that that max avatar size I could use is 50 by 50 pixels or 19.5kb.
Wish I could have a larger avatar.

Yeah, it will force resize it to 50x50 unless you go green.

Based on this thread it would appear that he did in fact go green.

Green members names are in Green... his is still blue (which is why I thought he was another one of f-net's cheapos)

They are not necessarily green. You can actually choose if you want it to show if you are part of the 'Go Green' group, thus having your username turning up in green.
