| The Return of Lady Moon As Sir Angel & Lady Moon trekked back to Arconia, they discussed many things: How they had each come to Arconia, why they had run away, & how they felt about being forced to marry.
"But your father is sure to war with us now," Lady Moon stated.
Sir Angel shook his head. "It doesn't matter. We're citizens of Arconia now. We will fight for the crown together. Besides, what could happen?" [In classical literature, this is called foreshadowing. This, however, is not classical literature...so we'll call it nutty].
Lady Moon considered this, & shrugged. "I supposed you're right." But then she grew quiet. "What if the others are mad for my leaving?" She hated to think she hurt anyone's feelings by her hasty decision.
"Everyone misses you terribly & wants you to return. Well..." He chuckled. "Everyone save two. They have come up with wild rumors of your disappearance. Won't they be surprised when they see your return?"
Lady Moon giggled. She knew exactly who Sir Angel meant. "Yes...they will..."
As stated before, news travels fast when all the villagers have to do for fun is gossip. When the travelers entered the castle gates, a grand welcome home party had been planned. Cheers when up from the crowd. The fiddlers fiddled, dancers did the hokey pokey, turning themselves around until they fell over laughing. The Fresca flowed freely. Hugs & salutes went 'round.
"Tell us of your travels, Lady Moon," one royal said. So she did.
Until now, King Arcon held back...quietly wiping away the tears that threatened to fall. "Your Highness..." Lady Moon curtsied. As she rose, he grabbed her for a hug.
"Don't ever leave us again! We've been forced to endure horrible stories & rumors of why you left. These soap operas...they have just about broken our wills to live!"
The King said.
He & Queen Zelda recounted some of the horrible statements said against Lady Moon. Shocked, but not too surprised, she answered, "Ahh...it seems a little truth needs to be stated here."
So, with everyone gathered around, she told the truth...

| "You see," she began, "I never told any of you about my younger sister. She was always a vicious, jealous child who unfortunately bore a great resemblance to me. Her name is Ken-Dall of Hart. Yes, that means I am Buffy of Hart(on mother's side)...Ken-Dall is a treacherous wench, constantly causing trouble & making life miserable for me.
"Ken-Dall was the one who hit me over the head & stole my manuscript. I did not recognize her because her costume for the dance concealed her features well. And..." Lady Moon took a deep breath. "It must be Ken-Dall who plotted the assassination. AND, might I add, who had a relationship with Swordsman. I was out of town at the time of these so called incidents, attending book signings for my work 'The Sword & I'. She's a lying little mynx, Ken-Dall is. Even my mother, bless her soul, has said, 'ALL MY CHILDREN, save Ken-Dall, are of pure heart. They are the summer of my life.'"

| It was a quiet evening in the Palace, both the king and queen were exhausted from the days celebration. As they sat and faced each other on the Palace balcony, Arcon lifted his glass of brandy looked over at his queen . As she lifted her glass of wine to her lips he winked and said, My Queen, It is a wonderful evening, as he looked up at the moon. Yes, our beloved Moon, we have her back
he thought to himself.

| I concur my King. It is wonderful to have our scribe back amongst us safe and sound. Now pass me that bottle please, as my glass seems to need topping up. By the way, did you hear that bard by the fountain today? I have given him lodging in the servants quarters, in return for entertainment at our next banquet. What do you think?

| Late at night, the phone in the castle rang. A servant ran to answer it.
"Hello? Oh. One moment please." She turned to the slightly figure standing next to her. As it frothed at the mouth & muttered incoherant things (while picking at various crevices on its body), she said, "Excuse me, Mr. Washington, your village called. They miss their idiot."

Moonitic, come-on, Let's try to get our barbs from somewhere besides bumperstickers.
You are not a good writer, and the reason that you spend so much time defending this little place, is that you have finally found an audience that is even dumber than you. You go girlfriend. Good luck finding a new publisher. I'll be sure to put in a good word for you, but then again with your skills I don't think that's going to help. You had better check into that vanity publishing stuff.

| Oh...a personal insult to my writing! How quaint! That means only one thing: jealousy (either that or delusions of grandure). Sorry kiddo...your words mean absolutely nothing to me. I know I'm a good writer, & nothing that some "person" hiding behind a dead president's name says is going to make me think otherwise. Especially when that "person" says it on a message board.
Anyway, on with life. It's good to be back amongst friends. I have a friend going to Nationals named Tina. She'll be fencing foil. If you see her, she'll have a message from me!

Moony, moony, moony,
First you say there is only one possible reason, then you offer an alternative (guess that was more than one). How about a third reason? Maybe I just don't like it. Trust me there are more reasons to tease you.
Yes, you are a professional writer, I am not. When you set yourself up as a professional at something and then demonstrate ineptitude in that area, then you are likely to be teased or critcized. Like when in another post you twice used the word pin instead of pen. Either that or your drawing was misleading.

| I dunno...space is more CREATIVE with the insults, & a more worthy opponent. G.W. makes no sense, & obviously doesn't understand half of what is being said.
But, you're right. It ain't (said purposely) worth it. Dumb people make boring adversaries....
