    Happy Thanksgiving Arconians

Hello, This is just to wish Arconians and others here in fantasyland a happy Thanksgiving weekend. If you'd like to post concerning your plans feel free to do so. For me its serious R & R. Ok, i confess, it'll be fencing books and footwork.

    see ya

My hubby and I have decided to take the kids, go to the base and eat Thanksgiving dinner at that galley, with friends and others who have no family around them. The cost is less than me making dinner and the menu.....well, let's just say that the meats include turkey, ham and prime rib, plus, soup, salad, seafood, desserts, and anything else you can think of. Plus, no mess for me to have to clean up. They make some pretty good food there, so this should be very nice and relatively stress free.

Oooh, that does sound good. What base, Willow? I think you said at one point your husband is Air Force...what's he do?

And speaking of Homer Simpson: "Some Very Good Beer", sung to a Broadway-sounding tune.

"Well beer, we've had some great times...when I was seventeen, I drank some very good beer. I drank some very good beer, that I purchased, with a fake I.D. My name was Brian McGee. I stayed up listening to Queen...when I was seventeen."

    You gotta love Homer.

Actually, my hubby is Coast Guard and he is stationed on a small base about an hour or so from San Francisco. It's mainly a training base and there are several schools there, one of which my hubby is an instructor at (he's an electronics technician). It was nice, yesterday. We had decent food with great company.
