| Escrime International Whilst a relatively new company Escrime International ('EI') is no stranger to the fencing arena - with a background spanning over a hundred years - and has started from scratch to become a pioneer in a traditional industry. This has allowed the company to develop products that have made innovations with fencers in mind, such as introducing the first ever fencing jacket to feature Raglan sleeves as well as socks made for fencers by fencers. Womens lames designed by a NYC designer for women.
Escrime USA offers EI's own branded equipment - uniforms, lamés, bodywires, bags, socks and weapon parts - alongside other brands that are already well established in the industry, such as Zivkovic, Vniti, StM, Gajardoni and Favero. Our aim is to offer the highest quality equipment at the most competitive prices, with fast delivery and customer service that is second to none.
The UK and American sites are live http://www.escrimeusa.com http://www.escrimeuk.com

Rick | As the initial posting, this sure sounds like an unadulterated advertisement; and not an "Armory - Q&A" discussion thread. |

| The black stitching almost looks like it might be wide enough to not be conductive but it works perfectly (at least in my experience with them thus far). I think it looks at least as good if not better than most lames from a fashion standpoint and if you're a lady it's probably the only place to get a saber lame that actually still lets you look like a lady

| the site looks excellent! the foil blades and uniforms look sooo tempting! but the bodycord page doesn't specify whether the body cord listed is bayonet, german or french. it shows on the photo though, but it's a little difficult to see what kind it is. best of luck to Escrime USA! |

Rick | Actually $45 still seems like a lot.
I'd consider it, but I refuse to buy bodycords that aren't transparent.
Is it correct that the wire itself in the ultimate bodycord is stainless steel not copper?

That is correct...the wire is not copper but stainless steel...want me to shoot a cross section of it for ya?

R | I don't need a cross section, I believe you, but if you're offering, sure. (Is it just steel or is it steel with copper or silver like the Negrini?)
While I'm surprised you're able to meet the resistance requirements with steel, I think it's a good idea, especially for people who are are pretty mean to their stuff.

| Good question....my father in law knows all the specs...he has the wire made and makes the cords....as to the resistance it its actually almost non-existent especially when its stainless steel throughout...he has it custom made for us somewhere here in the US. Just for you I called him...its solid stainless steel.... Attachment 2472
This is the best I could do without breaking out the lighting etc....hope it answers your question....Sorry I don't make transparent....just never been a fan....then again I thought more than 3 colors was overkill...Ive lost count how many he has come up with now.....actually have a few new of the ultra flex I have to add already...

| Everything Rick does is top notch.
If I was a sponsored fencer, I'd be ashamed to be with any company but his.
Very nice.
