Large Lame I never considered myself that big until I tried purchasing a lame. I want to buy a good lame (I like Uhlmann) that will last a while, but the largest sizes I have seen are 48. I take a 48 in a suit, but a 52 in a fencing jacket. Any suggestions as to where I can get one my size whether it be ready made or custom made. -

Uhlmann will custom make one. Please note that a Euro 48 is not an American 48. Sometimes it's hard to tell what sizing they use.
However, I have a Triplette Ultralight which I like very much. It's a size 50. I think they make them in sizes up to 54 stock and larger custom.
They also make their Super duty lamé in sizes up to 54.

Array A euro 48 is what, an american 38 or thereabouts? I STRONGLY doubt that an American 38 (equivalent) is the largest he found....
A 52 is a fairly large size, I'm not surprised you're having trouble with that. Call around and actually talk to the various vendors. They'll let you know better what's out there than their catalogs will. Plus if they don't carry larger sizes but know who does they'll probably point you in the right direction.

Santelli uses the exact same lame fabric that Uhlmann and Allstar use. Their lames also tend to run wide in the body (even wider than Uhlmann), and it'd probably be less time consuming (and have less likelihood of European vs. American sizes) to go the custom route with them. One larger club member did order a custom made lame from them and had no problems.
If you need something pronto, Blue Gauntlet sells their copper lames in sizes up to 54 (we've got one that large in club stock). They're not stainless, but if you're diligent about washing and don't have highly acidic perspiration they'll hold up fairly well.
