Array bayonet-two prong adaptors IA friend of mine was thinking of building a bayonet-two prong adaptor. I was wondering if this was at all possible, or if it's already been done. just wondering. -

I see two problems. 1) The more connections you have, the more places there are for the circuit to break when you don't want it to. 2) the size of the adapter would probably be too bukly to be practical.
If you're thinking of making one for foil & sabre so you don't have to wear two body cords if you're fencing both weapons the same day (I do it a lot), it's a lot easier to make your sockets match then try and build an adapter.
I used to have 2 pin foils and bayonet sabres, but the sabre sockets kept getting destroyed, so I put 2 pins on my sabres. -

You have to reverse your active lines, while the ground remains the same.

Now, if you've been using a backwards wired cord for sabre, you typically won't notice the difference, since they're grounded together.
