| A Side-Order of Fries I've been told it's a good thing to have another physical outlet aside from fencing.
My school offers volleyball, bowling, golf, basketball, and football which doesn't count anyway because I'm a female...
None of these things even remotely appeals to me. And when you live out in the boonies (ok, not quite the boonies but still quite antisocial little place) it's pretty hard to find anything to do besides running. And don't get me wrong, running's the shizzle, yo, but what else is there?
And don't even think about saying the word jazzercise, because I won't do it.

I played volleyball at high school so I am a little surprised that you don't like it (I thought it was a great game). It's sufficiently different from other team sports that you don't have to put with the normal "idiots" attracted to those sorts of sports.
Some options (not covered by noodle) I would look at:
Find a martial art (boxing if you are so minded).
Tennis, squash, badminton etc.
Cycling
Soccer
Rugby*
Anything which keeps you active and on the move.
Give us more information on why you don't like those sports and we will be able to give you better advice.
* though girls who do this tend to be ... manly. |

| I have to second this--tennis, soccer, and boxing are great choices, though the latter's not the best choice if you don't care for martial arts.
Still, I'm pretty sure that even if your school doesn't offer it, there are kids around school somewhere who play soccer regularly--see if you can't find anyone who does, it does wonders for conditioning.
Tennis (and racquetball!) might not be as easy to come by casually, but it helps with being quick on your feet--if you can at least get a racquet and a convinient brick wall (or willing adversary) then you're set |

| I would like to report that sex is my alternate sport, but alas, as certain of my friends have noted in this regard I appear to be at least part Vulcan...

Perhaps I'll try that.

| I fail to understand your problem with running though. I crosstrain with it (run about a mile-half a mile a day). Its great for endurance training and makes legs stronger which also helps during a bout.

| Makes your lungs work more efficiently, too. I love to run. I guess some people find it boring, though. Each to his own. If running bores you, then maybe swimming is better. |

| running is good, but it can get monotonous.
i like racquetball because it forces you to constantly change speed and direction.

| If you find running boring just listein to an Ipod/mp3 player. But if you don't like running, then id think swimming would be the best.

| I like riding my bike a lot. I have pretty good endurance because I ride my bike about 25 miles a day. Not to mention I've lost 35 pounds since I started doing it. |

| Ultimate Frisbee is an awesome sport that only requires a frisbee, a field and 5-∞ friends. There is lots of running around and jumping and no gender barriers. Plus you don't have to be organized with a school team or anything. |
