| New to the forums
Hi,
My name's Adelaide, at least on here
:-)
Let's see, a little about my fencing history... I used to fence in a small, non competing community club close to where I live, I fenced foil there mostly, but a friend convinced me about a year ago that epee is amazing, so I switched. Now, I fence epee on the UMass fencing team. It's not NCAA or anything, not that I'd be good enough to be on a NCAA team. When I came to the club (UMass), I realized how incorrect most of the things was doing were, so I'm in the porcess of fixing all of the things that have been ingrained in me over the past 4 years... It's hard, but I think I'm enjoying fencing now more than I have in the past.
My only competition experience with epee is The Big One, where I won three of my six pool bouts, but lost my first DE.

Yep, they're still on my phone! That silly blue lame hasn't been worn since, and is still gathering dust on my living room floor. Can I just say, I am really glad you ditched foil?  If anyone here gives Adelaide a hard time, you will face my wrath. She's good people.
