| Pumpkins! Your attention please:
It is now 1 day until All Hallows Eve. You should have pumpkins carved by now. If not, why not?
So post them up, and tell us your Haloweeny plans.
This is the first of three I'm carving. I did the second one last night, and will do te thrid tonight. As for Haloween night, it's my mother's birthday, so I'll be busy with that (which reminds me, I've gotta get her something...). http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMGP3786.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...n/IMGP3787.jpg

| That's skinned. I used a bead reamer to do it. The inside of the pumpkin is absolutely and completely shelled out. There's no meat left inside whatsoever. This is so the light can shine through more effectively. |

| You guys have some awesome pumpkins! I'm embarrassed to post the Jack Skellington face that I carved in an hour flat this morning.
Did anyone do a traditional, Charlie Brown-style pumpkin? ANYONE??? |

| Look at the link Late provided to DEST's blog. Hers is pretty much a Charlie Brown pumpkin.

| I have a Facebook album up of my pumpkins from the past several years, the link should work even if you don't have an account. This year's was an Eiffel Tower, but two years ago I did a three-pumpkin fencing scene. http://wheaton.facebook.com/p.php?i=...VXS2TB6JF1VDYZ

I'm going to steal the fencing idea next year.

Thanks for the vote LN.
I can't believe I just now looked at this thread.

| Guys!
Halloween is over!
Enjoy your candy (or your kid's candy, or the candy you managed not to hand out by scaring all the kids who would try to take it) and let the pumpkin thread die 'till next year.

| Next time spray it with WD 40 (or smear it with vaseline).
They seal the pumpkin, and it doesn't do bad as fast.
