| I need a new Coffee Mug. As we all know one of the main hallmarks of a geek is their coffee mug. This is a very important accessory for all caffeine soaked computer types - second only to their vast collection of M$/Linux/"I hate EMO" T-shirts and far up the list from the all-important collection of pizza boxes.
Anyway. Mine has gone missing and I am having trouble deciding on a replacement. Anyone got a recommendation? My only preference is that it should be suitably geeky* and capable of holding a decent amount of coffee. * No Debian mugs. One of my mates has one and I am much more cool than he. |

| No suitable geeky ideas on the mug...but if you're looking for a geeky T-Shirt (or map of the internet) this is a great site: http://xkcd.com/store/
Dunno if you read it, but it's one of my favorite comic strips.

| For wonderful geeky toys, shirts, doodads, and other stuff, it's hard to top Think Geek http://www.thinkgeek.com/
Their mug selection isn't quite as good as the rest of their stuff, but if you need a combination VI reference sheet and coffee mug.....
(not to mention a flask engraved "meh", caffeine molecule mugs, RTFM, WTF, and beer glasses that say #include <beer.h>)

| All things Despair. http://www.despair.com/pessimistsmug.html
I have both the first and second generations of the Pessimist's Mug. The first was acrylic and developed a host of cracks from the heat of the coffee. Go figure - you just can't get anything that lasts anymore. Now they make it in new-and-improved breakable GLASS! Holds a fair amount of joe, and boy does it fit the owner's personality.

| Gee, could anything be more appropriate for a pessimist's mug than a host of cracks? Oh, the delightful suspense of watching and waiting!
Although the breakable glass has MUCH greater disaster potential.
