    sabre body cords

I have this great ohmmeter I bought from Tim Loomis (sallearmourer) and now I'm feeling brave enough to repair the body cords, which are the only things which ever go wrong on me.

I know enough to (a) replace the retaining clip (b) replace and resolder an alligator clip and (c) use a thin screwdriver to widen the prongs a teensy bit when they aren't seating firmly in the socket. BUT . . . I can't find the various armoring guides I have acquired over the years and I don't know which line is which. Before I go into the club and irritate the armorer by asking her for the 20th time which line is which and what goes to what when I'm taking the plugs apart, could someone give me a quick rundown?

    "The fat man stands alone."

(That means that the ground plug (fat plug) in the 2 prong side connects to the C pin in the 3 prong plug.)

The thin prong for the 2-prong side goes to the middle and the lame clip goes to the other end.

    [code]
    x x x (3 prong plug)
    A B C

    Lame | |
    \ /
    x X (2 prong plug)

(Edited to get the formatting right here.)

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers,
    Craig
