| Oh, and I think about half of them are only for Olympians. I know three as mentioned in the article are.

| I've seen several pairs.
My clubmate Katie has mostly white with red soles and red swooshes.
At the Northwest Fencing Center, I've seen ones that are similar, but with blue. And similar but with orange, too.

| Oh dear...now I've got a crisis. I was just about to put an order through for the Leon Paul Scimitars when I just ran across this post. Granted fencing in street sneaks has landed me in physiotherapy so I'd be keen to get good fencing shoes as soon as possible. But then, those Nike's look really nice....
Hm, would we be able to get them in any sort of different colour combinations or will it only by the blue ones? (Yeah, yeah I'm a cheesy symmetrical person. Most of my stuff is All Star, so it's red) |

The Ballestra will be available in August and we'll have links to order available here when they launch.
I've also been talking to a couple of people at Nike about what we need to do to get them in more people's hands for display and trying on at NACs. Since Nike isn't sure of the real market size here, they've stated that expansion will depend on seeing the market materialize.
At their suggestion I put together a form to gauge interest. I can show the aggregate numbers back to Nike to help push them forward in our market and also let anyone who signs up know exactly when they are available and how to get them.
Here's the form: I want the Nike Ballestra
Craig | The form had some errors that are now fixed. If you submitted the form, please do so again as it was not collecting any data.
Thx,
Craig |

I think Mariel Zagunis has her own kind and dare I say it had hot pink accents and some other color. I hate pink, so I didn't even bother to keep looking at it, and I don't remember it well.
Mostly white with navy blue and Carolina blue accents.
I think there was a grey one somewhere, or another darker blue one that isn't too bright, but I don't remember very well.
I just realized this probably wasn't a very helpful post....beyond saying that the most tasteful one is the last one I mentioned. | I know this has been covered before. It basically goes something like this:
White/Tangerine/Grey - pretty straightforward, unassuming
White/Carolina blue - also basic, honestly it looks suprisingly girly, I think it's probably an ice blue actually
Obsidian/Carolina Blue/White "USA" - pictured on the link from Craig. Basically awesome
White/Red/Black - pictured in earlier posts in this thread
"Ukraine" (University Blue/Citron?) - pictured on the Fnet Facebook group and elsewhere in this thread
Black/Pink - Margherita Granbassi only. Thank goodness.
White/Red/Red - like the other red ones with a red tongue. Chinese team only.
I can't actually think of another color scheme that was listed as being planned. Could be wrong though...

| It would be sweet if they made it a Nike ID sneaker in which you could create a shoe with custom colors and your name on it. |

| Craig, given your experience and/or connections, what price do you expect these shoes to retail for?

| Also, will you or anyone else have some at NAC's after they come out? I'm wary about buying anything on-line that has to be properly sized. |

| Great, thanks for the video because it gives a better look at the shoes, plus the colors they shoe are really cool. |
