| Obviously it a little hard to tell exactly why you're sweating so much, but you've already identified the most common reasons:
- genetics
- warm and humid atmosphere
- physical activity
- physical fitness level
Additionally, your choice of clothing may also be an issue. Bottom line, if it's hot and humid and you're training hard, you should be sweating, and there's not much you can do about it. It's better than not sweating and suffering heat stroke!
Do the other fencers sweat much? If they don't, and are working as hard as you are, then I'd be a little more concerned, unless maybe you aren't in good shape?
Odds are you can't change the atmosphere there, unless you've got some fans you want to bring along, so get a light uniform that breathes well and drink plenty of fluids before and after practice. |
