Can anyone recommend some nice thick books to read?

Sort of a fencing 101 for your average nerd...

http://www.vtmfencing.com/News look for the book at the bottom. I just started fencing (as in this very evening!) and this guy is world class. My brother has been at it for about 5 years now I think, and he says Maitre Bac is the man to be taught by. (and his books are easy to fallow as well.
