It's just for fun and generally meaningless. Although, some people take their number of green dots very seriously.

As for seeing their exact points, I don't think you can. But you can sort the members list by reputation and get a sense of relative point count.

Yep, the more green dots you have, the more reputation you have. Although, once you get to a certain level, you stop acquiring dots.

The worst is almost certainly someone who posted before the rep inflation, and then stopped.

Among active posters, it's probably not you or Inq because you both post regularly in rep farming threads and such. I probably have a lower ratio than both of you, for example.
