I don't really remember ANY description in the books of Dean Thomas's skin color, which just means that it doesn't matter to anyone what his skin color happens to be.....

Apparently JK Rowling's kid is a fencer. I've not had this rumour corroborated (I wasn't there when JK pitched up at a scottish tournement).
On the other subject.
I bet she made it up on the spot.
