Scoring Lights, red, green, white

There was a post, a few weeks ago, about someone looking for green lights. These are the truck side marker lights that TCA and others use. I have some that I found in the attic, from an old project. There are 3 red, 3 green, and 6 white (NOT clear). Picture attached. They are from NAPA. The green lenses were special order and the white are no longer available. They are used, with wires attached. None of the lenses are broken but have a few light scratches. These have two 12 volt bulbs, #194 (in parallel) , that are available at any auto parts store. I will sell them for $20. Contact me on this site or at franklepl@bellsouth.net

On this subject, I was helping someone build extension lights and found this very wonderful component:
http://www.futurlec.com/AC_Opto_Output_4.shtml

This is a board that will take a TTL/microprocessor output and drive a 110 or 220V load. So you connect the extension light outputs of a machine to the board, and then you can drive PAR (reflector flood) lamps. Actually, you might want to use a string of fast turn on compact fluorescent lamps. Its a four channel board and each channel drives 6 amps; that's 650 watts per channel!

And the whole thing costs $25!

The only downside is you need a power supply for the board, but a cheap wall wart will do.

Isn't eigertech looking for a cheap repeater light system for their scoring machines?

I wonder if this is relevant to their interests.

A bit better

A better board would be this:

http://www.futurlec.com/Opto_Relay_4.shtml

It is the same opto coupler input, which can be directly connected to an Eigertec box. The other board used a trac to turn on the AC (only). The output uses relays, which can switch on anything. AC or DC, 12 volt or 115 volt lamps, LED's, flouresent, even an electric horn. It also provides an extra step of isolation from the lamps. Relays may be old, but they are still used extensively in industrial control.

More stuff from the attic

I found some more fencing electronic stuff in the attic. 7 Prieur male body cord plugs (3 pins) with white covers, 2 female sockets-without covers, foil 2 pin weapon socket, and a home made PAUL body cord. I will add this to the red, green and white lights and cut the price to $10, that about covers shipping. These items are used, but in useable condition. Just want someone to use the parts or I will throw them out.

The transaction will be: send me a $10 bill in the mail and I will send you the parts by Priority Mail. Not worth the trouble to list on ebay.

Contact me by email. Only one person can get the stuff! We will discuss addresses then.
