| This service did me so much good in Tucson. I really appreciate it, and will commit to using it exclusively over THS should you continue to offer it.

| Is there any point in asking if there are restaurants or stores to buy drinks and lunch within walking distance? |

| If you can get over to the Deep Ellum area there are a bunch of good eats and bars.

| I'll have a car. I can't seem to find the hotel's parking policies on the site. |

| What are the dates for this competition?
I know they don't post anything for the NACs on 'fred. (Do they?) So can someone link me to wherever the info is? (I know it's on USFA. Or it should be. I'm just too lazy to find it atm.)

Incidently, while we give away many fish here, explicitly saying that you know how to do X but are too lazy to be bothered is a good way of ensuring that we're less likely to do so.
Of course, based on your profile information, it seems unlikely that you're eligible for NAC C in any case.

| I know. But I still want to see when and where the nacs will be, whether I go or not. Thank you, though. I don't usually use the USFA site, as dumb as that is. I pretty much rely on ol' fred. As... dumb as that is.

| FRED is a very poor resource for National Tournament information. |

| That was my point. But fred is easy =D
Whenever I'm looking for anything on a national level, I look elsewhere. But i don't do that often, so.. I use fred.

| Please don't ridicule me when I ask this but...
I understand that Dallas isn't a pedestrian friendly city but is it actually a "driver" friendly city?
In other words, if one does rent a car how easy is it to get around between the hotels and the venue? Is traffic bad? Is parking bad? One way streets? Are their street signs? (Don't laugh, there are lots cities with streets with no visible signs.) etc.?

Traffic is no worse than any other large city, and better than some (subject to usual disclaimers for rush hour and so forth). At the moment, there are no large scale construction projects in the downtown area, which will help. Street signs are for the most part visible and easy to read. There are one-way streets, but they're pretty easy to navigate as downtown Dallas is a grid. Parking is available.

And besides, not having street signs is only inconvenient to pesky out-of-towners, and why should that bother the natives?

| Place to Eat If you want something different and likely not in your home town, unless you live in Texas, go to Freebirds. They have a few locations around dfw and their website is freebirds.com. Are really are great and you will not be disappointed. I will be there Saturday night at a minimum and more if I can. They don't have Freebirds in Charlotte yet so until then..... |

| Does anyone know what the West End Hotel is like? It seems there are mixed reviews from two stars to four stars. Is it really bad or okay? Noisy, dirty, nice?
Just realized that there is no restaurant at the West End.

| Does anyone know if there are set finals times again? If so, is it posted anywhere on the USFA website what those times are/can you post them?
Thanks
PS estimated ending times would help too |

PS estimated ending times would help too | The tournament committee calculates estimated ending times but they don't publicize the information. |

It's not pedestrian friendly, there's no hotel close to the venue and now no restaurant at West End and that means no hot breakfast? AND USFA now decides to provide shuttle service from Adam's Mark and not when I reserved West End because of its proximity.
Why am I going to Dallas???? |
