Saber/foil/epee silhouette artwork

In the vein of the popular sticker, I've produced a set of similar images, for public consumption. They're here on my club's web site, and they're public domain.

I did sabre, foil pistol & french, and epee pistol & french. They're all available as SVG files, in case you want to print them out poster sized.

I've also included a description of how to make similar images yourself, in case you don't like the grips I used, or whatever.

Enjoy.

Curious about the French Epee. Was the view from not exactly normal to the blade axis? Apparently different depth and curve to back of Epee guard profile.

They were all photographed with the tip angled slightly towards the camera. The french grip epee much more so, probably because I was trying to keep the socket from appearing, and because it was hard to get them positioned quite right. (The sane thing to do would've been to clamp them a few inches past front surface of the guard. I plunked the tip of the blades into a hole in some wood and let gravity bend them over slightly. They wibbled around rather irritatingly whenever they were bumped.)
