I just saw this appearing as a sponsored ad in my email inbox.
I was interested in this new book about fencing, so I clicked on it, and found out this is one of those websites from a self called "expert" who claims to know all there is to know about fencing, has put it in a book and is ready to sell it to you.
The author leaves her name in her marketing drivel, Margaret Holt. Interestingly enough, when you search for her name, there aren't any competition results, either on Google or on AskFred.
She also claims that she gives a directory of fencing clubs and a fencing glossary for free with every purchase of her book. Interestingly, these are features of fencing.net, which also gives them away for free (except F.Net doesn't require you to buy a $19.97 book to get the benefit of them).
I'd be interested to hear about this lady more and what she's been doing fencing.

| I've been such a fool. Instead of going to the fencing club and working with a coach, I could've bought this book to get combat training to improve my skills and counterattack with a sharp sword to secure victory against even the most skilled competitor.

Tomas | It says she spent a whole six months figuring these things out -- how to become a fencing expert -- and then she spent the next two decades (yes, that's what it says) practicing what she learnt.
...why didn't she publish this book like...umm...two decades ago?
