Rocky Mountain Sectionals 2008

For the sake of getting some information out a bit earlier than in the past:

The 2008 Rocky Mountain Sectional Championships are currently scheduled for April 12-13 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to be hosted by the United States Air Force Academy. This is still technically a bit tentative, as I believe there has not yet been formal word from the Academy administration regarding availability of the facility, but in my last conversation with Coach Salem, he indicated that he believes it to essentially be a done deal.

I plan to attend the Nick Toth the last weekend in October to finalize & work out the formal arrangements with Coach Salem so that a schedule can be published, registration can be set up on AskFRED, etc., etc., but I wanted word on the date to start filtering out as soon as possible ...

As noted elsewhere, due to venue cost issues, etc., the Air Force Academy venue has basically fallen through, and we have had to fall back to the prior venue at CU Boulder. Same weekend as previously announced, and the tournament is now up for preregistration on AskFRED.

regards
aaron

It's up on Askfred.net:

Aaron's contact information is there if you have any questions or comments. We have a venue and it's time to start registering!

Hope to see you all there!

Registration deadlines approaching!

For those who don't bother reading either their mail, their email, or the "More Info" pages on AskFRED ...

The deadline for regular fee entry to Sectionals is tomorrow, April 2! No fooling!

It will cost and extra $50 to complete registration after tomorrow. This includes those who have started preregistration, but have not paid!

Just a friendly reminder/warning ....

Next year's Sectionals...

I really hope that Kansas can host next year. I have never been to Kansas before and it would be nice to get the chance to visit the state.
